Srinagar: Pakistan premier pacer Shaheen Afridi is getting back into full rhythm after having rather quite initial phase in the ongoing T20 Vitality Blast in England.
Known for his toe-crushing swinging Yorkers in the power play, Shaheen Afridi was not having best of them till now. That all changed on Sunday , as the Pakistan star produced brilliant delivery to shatter stumps of England star batter Jos Buttler.
Playing for Nottinghamshire, Shaheen Afridi delivered the best delivery of his spell against the Lancashire batter. Butter managed 23 runs off 16 balls.
Earlier, Lancashire captain Liam Livingstone won the toss and elected to bat first. His decision backfired as the batters were undone by the rival bowlers, with Afridi leading the charge.
He also dismissed George Bell to accumulate his second wicket of the day.
Earlier in the last match, Shaheen Afridi had taken three wickets including one of Moeen Ali. Before that in the matches played, Afridi was struggling to take wickets and particularly in power play.
