Srinagar: Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan has continued his brilliant form in the inaugural edition of Major League Cricket (MLC) 2023 and on Monday bowled superb bowling spell and played a valuable cameo.
It was San Francisco vs Texas Super Giants at Morrisville, where the Faf du Plessis-led side prevailed by three wickets.
Khan, who has been in terrific form with both bat and ball, first scored a swift 20-run cameo, then claimed the wickets of Devon Conway and Mitchell Santner. The highlight of Khan’s dismissals was undoubtedly Santner’s wicket.
Sannter, batting on seven off nine, missed a googly from Shadab Khan and played the delivery with his feet stuck in the crease, only to have his off-stump rattled.
Earlier, Khan got the better of Devon Conway, getting him stumped as the batter missed a googly, and came dashing down the track too early. The 24-year-old has claimed 127 runs and picked up five wickets in five matches for San Francisco Unicorns.
