
Srinagar, April 05: Jammu and Kashmir cricketer Parvez Rasool had an unreal outing in the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division League at Bangldesh on Tuesday as the all-rounder helped his team Sheikh Jamal beat Prime Bank by 1 wicket.
Parvez first bowled an exceptional spell with the ball and then played an unbeaten knock to see his team through.
He took 4 wickets, giving away only 25 runs in his 10 overs, which helped Sheikh Jamal restrict Prime Bank on a par total of 265 runs.
Later, with his team down on 141/5, Parvez played significantly alongside tail-enders to ensure Sheikh Jamal stay in the game. Lastly, they needed 12 runs in the last over with just one wicket in hand.
Parvez hit a four and six in consecutive deliveries as Sheikh Jamal posted a narrow win. He ended up with 65 runs off 51 balls, including 7 fours and 2 sixes.
With this win, Sheikh Jamal are now the table-toppers in the league.
