Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur on Saturday broke stumps after being given out LBW against Bangladesh in the third ODI at Mirpur.
Kaur tried sweeping a full-length delivery from Nahida Akhter and it hit her pads. After a long appeal, she was given out.
However, Harmanpreet didn’t seem to be happy with the decision as she broke stumps with her bat in anguish.
The move left cricket fans stunned. Many fans questioned the Indian skipper, asking if such a behaviour is acceptable at the international level.
Later, in the post-match presentation, Harmanpreet Kaur lashed out at umpires, saying “Umpring has been pathetic!”
The match was tied and the series was shared.
