Srinagar: Wani and Sons Cricket Club lifted the second Gani Memorial Night T20 cricket tournament title by defeating Hooked Shaheens in the final played at Gani Memorial Sports Stadium, Rajouri Kadal here on Friday.
In the match, Wani and Sons Cricket Club beat Hooked Shaheen’s by five runs to emerge as champions. Ishfaq Wani was awarded player of the tournament, bathing Rs 3000 while as he also bagged player of the match award. Rafiq Baba bagged game changer award.
Sports Officer Kashmir, Muzaffar Ahmad was chief guest on the occasion while as CEO DCL Naseer Ahmad was guest of Honour. Manager Gani Memorial stadium Shafqat Shafi and Manager Indoor Stadium Iqbal Ahmad were other guests present.
Winning side bagged Rs 70000 award while as runner-up bagged Rs 30000.
The tournament was organised by Gani Memorial Cricket Association.
