J&K is set to play its seventh match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy tournament against Rajasthan on Wednesday with all eyes on the team to bounce back.
After playing neck to neck matches against their opponents in the opening encounters, J&K team seem to have derailed. they went on to suffer worst possible defeats in following match.
The wholesale changes in the playing XI are also not helping team to change its fortunes.
In the last match against Services there were few positives for the team. Parvez Rasool taking five wicket haul was big positive while as in batting Paras Sharma, played a brilliant inning. Rest of the story was same with batsman failing and pacer Mohammad Mudhasir playing another cameo.
Cricket fans back home are eagerly waiting for J&K team to break streak of defeats. It was first time that J&K team had prepared well ahead of the national season. It was first time a proper coaching camp was held and still the performance has not been what was hoped for.
It looks like that team was taken by surprise as they got bouncy and turning tracks in Chennai while as they had prepared on flat hard decks back home.
Lets hope they will bounce back and give something to cheer for fans back home.
