In the ongoing Zafrom Premier League played at Sports Stadium Seer Humdan Anantnag, the Veerian Cricket Academy defeated mighty Mattan Sports in the Quarter final match by 8 wkts. 
Batting First Mattan Sports managed to score only 110 runs, even though having the hitting sensations like Ishtiyaq Rasool (Ishnag) and Gowhar Pathan in their side. Ishtiyaq Rasool scored 19 and Fayaz Bhat scored 20 runs as highest scorers from Mattan Sports Side.
While from Veerian Cricket Academy it was once again a brilliant bowling by Owais Ibni Bashir who got the big fish in the opening over of the match and bowled some peach deliveries. Tajamul Rafiq took 4 wkts , Owais 2 wkts and Sameer Dar took 2 wkts.
In reply Veerian Cricket Academy while chasing the target of 111 runs, it was the hammering of Shubham who scored unbeaten 71 runs to guide his team to Semifinals and was also adjudged as Man of the match at the end. VCA won the match in the 16th over of the match with 8 wkts in hand. Shubham scored 71, Umer Gibbs 13 and Shahid 11 runs as highest scorers from VCA. While from Mattan Sports Fayaz Bhat was the only bowler who gave some relief to his team by taking two wkts from their bowling side.
