In the final of GPL season 2nd played at Degree college ground Magam Valley Boys beat Kings XI by three wickets.
Kings xi Gundhasibhat after winning the toss chose to bat first & managed to score only 139 runs in alloted 20 over. Reshi Fida made 40 runs and was the highest run scorer for Kings xi. Shahbaz Hussain from VBC was the highest wicket taker as he took 3 wickets in his quota of 4 overs.
Chasing the target Valley Boys Club Magam started there run chase with a mini collapse. After the loss of quick two wickets in the form of Yawar and Mustafa at the score of 22, came yaseen and joined the party with Ehsaan and the duo made a partnership of 70 runs. After the departure of Yaseen and Ehsaan who made 41 and 31 respectively, VBC needed 36 from last six overs.Irfan who came after the departure of Yaseen played a quick knock of 21 runs and Finally Faisal made it easy for VBC as he helped his team to chase down the target with 3 balls to spare. The stadium was full of spectator’s supporting there teams. The VBC spectator’s cherished their victory with full enjoyment. Ehsaan from VBC was adjudged the man of the tournament and Yaseen was adjudged the player of the final fir scoring a match winning knock of 41 when his tram needed the most. The final was witnessed with full of emotional drama as it was the clash of two arch rivals
