Umpire killed for giving no-ball in cricket match

Srinagar: A shocking incident was witnessed in Odhissa on Sunday with an umpire getting killed for calling a no ball during cricket match.

As per reports, umpire identified as Lucky Rout was killed by a youth for taking a wrong decision on no-ball during a cricket match in Mahisalanda ground, Cuttack Odhissa.

The accused had been identified as Muna Rout.

Reports sais that an altercation broke out between two teams due to the umpire’s decision. 

Soon, the situation took a heated turn, as Muna attacked Lucky on his head with a bat. As a result Lucky fell unconscious on the spot. But Muna continued the brutal attack and stabbed Lucky with a sharp weapon.

Locals rushed Lucky to hospital. However, he was declared brought-dead by doctors there.
