A brilliant knock by Umar Nissar and fine bowling spell by youngster Sharukh Farooq helped Team-A to beat Team-D by eight wickets in the J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) trial matches at Sheri-Kashmir Cricket Stadium here on Wednesday.
Batting first Team-D got all out for 125 runs. Skipper Fazil Rashid was the only batsman to show some resistance by scoring unbeaten fifty. For Team-A, that is lead by Parvez Rasool young rookie pacer Shahrukh Farooq took four wickets.
In reply Team-A, achieved target for the loss of two wickets. Umar Nissar starred for the team with unbeaten 56 run knock.
