Ubaid Shah’s heroics continue in U-19 World Cup

Srinagar: Pakistan spearhead pacer Naseem Shah’s younger brother Ubaid Shah has continued his heroics in the ongoing ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup, propelling Pakistan into semifinal.

In the Suoer 6 match Willowmoore Park in Benoni on Saturday, Ubaid Shah took five wicket haul to win a low scoring thriller vs Bangaldesh.

Chasing 156, Bangl­adesh succumbed to some high-quality fast bowling by the Pakistan who dismis­sed their opponents in 35.5 overs.

Ubaid Shah took 5-44 and hi raw pace and swing along troubled Bangladesh batters. Ali Raza took 3-44.

Ubaid was named the player-of-the-match. The younger Shah has so far taken 18 wickets in the tournament.
