After J&K U-23 team faced one more crushing defeat of innings and 146 runs by the hands of Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, apart from players, the fingers are being raised over the coaching staff as well.

The team was led by Tahseen Dar in the first three matches while later Suryansh Raina was given the charge in fourth one. However, this change made no difference in the results as they continued with the dismal show- conceding first innings lead in the initial two matches and losing the following two with big margins.
Meanwhile, questions are being raised over players and coaching staff for their unimpressive run.
“I don’t understand what are coaches doing in there? Team is failing to even compete well and it’s highly concerning,” a former cricketer told KSW.
“Most of the players in squad haven’t delivered and with four more matches remaining, some changes need to be made,” He added
Coaching staff is as responsible as players are believes a senior player of state,
“In international cricket, if a team fails, most of the blame goes on coaching staff but here in J&K, only players face the criticism, which is undone. Coaches are as responsible as players are for these humiliating defeats.”
“JKCA should immediately remove them and send some experts with the team,” He said.
Reportedly, one of the coaches boarding with the team is a government employee, which in a way arises conflict of interest,
“Isn’t it illegal that a government employee is a coach of proffesional cricket team? It surely leads to conflict of interest but our JKCA looks no way in a mood understand this. A person is taking salary from Government and earning big bucks in JKCA as well, it’s very unfortunate,” another former player said.
