Srinagar: The four wickets haul by Aditya Chib and Omar Farooq, helped J&K thrash Himachal Pradesh by eight wickets in its match of Under-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy One-Day limited overs zonal league at Roshnara Club Ground, New Delhi.
Batting first, HP were bundled out for 104 runs in 24.3 overs. Tomar was the top scorer with 34 runs, while AA Walia made 25 runs and AS Jamwal chipped in 11 runs.
From J&K side, Aditya Chib took four 4 wickets while Omar Farooq also took 4 wickets. Momin Manzoor and Faiz Tariq clinched one wicket apiece.
In the second inning, J&K chased the target for the loss of only two wickets in 25.2 overs. Sahil Lotra was the top scorer with 33 runs, while Tahsin Dar scored 24 runs. Qamran Iqbal and Vivrant scored 19 and 16 runs respectively.
