U-16 Tourney: Punjab outplay JK by an inning and 268 runs

In the ongoing  Under-16 Vijay Merchant trophy hosts Punjab defeated J&K Under-16 side by an innings and 268 runs at Chandigarh on Thursday.

JK were bundled out for paltry total of 116 runs in first innings. In reply Punjab posted huge total of 538 for the loss of five wickets in their first inning. Pukhraj Mann and Surya Narayan Yadav scored unbeaten 156 runs each that floored JK bowling line up.cricket

In the second inning JK batting failed again with team getting all out for 154 runs. Punjab won match by an inning and 268 runs and bagged seven points from the match.
