Srinagar: There seem to be trouble in friendship between Pakistan opener Imam ul Haq and skipper Babar Azam after former was benched for the last two ODI’s against New Zealand.
Imam ul Haq who emerged out as man of the match in the third ODI vs New Zealand has been kept out of Pakistan playing eleven in fourth and ongoing fifth ODI.
Apparently not happy with the management decision Imam ul Haq has posted a cryptic tweet. Imam took to Twitter on Sunday, to share an interesting comment, which garnered a lot of attention from fans.
“Life is an unexpected journey so never expect anything from anyone”. Be patient, Allah is watching,” Imam Tweeted.
Earlier after the third ODI in the post-match press conference, Imam made headlines as he said that the Pakistan doesn’t have many matches left to experiment with their playing XI ahead of the 2023 World Cup. Hence, he shunned the idea of including power-hitters like Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Haris in the lower-middle order.
