Srinagar: Kashmir pacer Rasikh Salam who delivered a match winning performance for the Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024 match on Saturday said that team executed its plans well.

Rasikh Salam starred in the match as DC beat MI by 10 runs. Coming on as an impact sub, Rasikh took 3/34 , which included the dismissals of MI captain Hardik Pandya, Nehal Wadhera and Mohammed Nabi.

Rasikh accounted for back-to-back three-wicket-hauls as the speedster extended his brilliance from DC’s previous fixture against GT, where he ended his spell with the figures of 3/44.

Speaking at the post-match presentation, Rasikh reflected on his successful spell while giving insight on how he shaped up his bowling according to his franchise’s demands.

“It was tough as the wicket was flat but we had planned and the coach had prepared us. I’m trying to fulfil the team’s demands and I held my nerve. This is a confidence game and the more you have, the better it is. We plan together, do it before the game as well. [on Pant standing up to the seamers] It was a good move and a wicket fell next ball, Pant tells us to deliver as you do and I will come up to the stumps,” Rasikh said.
