After his fireworks against Rajasthan Royals for Delhi Capitals on April 22-2019 in the match of Indian Premier League, the Delhi Capitals teammate has termed Rishabh Pant as top T20 finisher in current t20 arena.
Rishabh Pant lead Delhi Capitals to a convincing 6-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals. Chasing 192, Rishabh Pant smashed a knock of 78 runs off 36 balls (4×6, 6×4) and guided Delhi to its 7th victory with four balls to spare at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium.
Seeing the fireworks from other end, his teammate in Team India and Capitals Prithvi Shaw has termed Pant top finisher in T20 arena.
Shaw in post match press conference said, “Rishabh Pant is the biggest finisher of the game in T20s right now, especially for our team”.
“Definitely, there was a plan. We knew in the powerplay there will be at least one spinner bowling and Shikhar bhai was batting so well in the powerplay, he was in a good flow. Then Jofra Archer, we knew he depends more on short balls and bouncers, so we were prepared,” Shaw said.
