“They can come with proper documents to take part in trials,” JKCA Member Administration on eligible players who aren’t part of Talent Hunt Shortlist

Brig. Anil Gupta, JKCA Member Administration, has said that eligible players who didn’t feature in the recently-announced Talent Hunt shortlist for different age groups could also take part in the trials by bringing along verifiable documents to the venue.

The zonal-wise shortlist for different categories (U-16, U-19 Men and Women and U-23 women) featured only a handful of players with a lot of eligible candidates missing out. These players now have a chance to enter the trials too.

“We came to know there were few people who faced problems in online registration or couldn’t provide the proper date of birth on time, so we have told our selectors that if anyone comes with proper documents to the venue, after verification, they can take part in the talent hunt,” Anil Gupta said in a video communication.

Now, the question is which documents can be considered proper?

“Digitised date of birth certificate (the DOB that is digitally printed and not hand-written) and updated Aadhar Card,” Gupta confirmed.
