Tanzeel shined with both bat and ball as FCC Hawal defeated District Kulgam XI by one wicket in a thrilling match of the ongoing Khurshid Drabu Memorial cricket tournament at Islamia College ground, Hawal Srinagar on June 29.
Tanzeel scored unbeaten 37 and took 4 wickets for FCC. Batting first Kulgam XI scored 205 runs. Nadeem with 85 runs was highest scorer for them while as Aqib scored 33. For FCC Hawal Tanzeel took 4 wickets and Zaid took 2 wickets.
In reply FCC chased down the target for the loss of 9 wickets. Tufail with 72 runs was highest scorer while as Tanzeel scored 37 not out.
For District Kulgam Nadeem took 3 wickets and Rameez took 2 wickets. FCC Hawal won the match by 1 wicket.
