Jammu and Kashmir cricket association on Thursday announced four teams for upcoming trial matches to select the team for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In this piece, we will look at some of the members of TEAM A.
CAPTAIN
The left-arm spinner, Waseem Raza will lead the Team A. The Srinagar-born cricketer has been around for a while now. He has played as many as 25 First-class, 31 List-A and 23 T20s for J&K. Apart from his bowling skills, Raza is a handy cricketer down the order. He has on and off helped his state both with the bat and ball. Without any doubt, the 26-year-old is one of the top contenders for T20 squad.
BATSMEN
Team ‘A’ is filled is filled with experienced campaigners like Adil Reshi and Owais Shah while as have some prodigies in the likes of Sahil Lotra, Vivrant Sharma, Fazil Rashid .
BOWLERS
Apart from a balanced batting side, Team ‘A’ has got some known bowlers as well. The department will be led by mentor, Irfan Pathan and other one’s include Zahoor Sofi, Umar Nazir, Akaash Chowdhary.
