Syed Tajuddin FC beat Downtown Heroes in Manmohan Thaper Memorial cup match


Srinagar: The JCT Limited Punjab in collaboration with J&K Football Association and J&K Sports Council organised Manmohan Thaper Memorial cup football match at Synthetic Turf TRC ground Srinagar on Thursday.
The one off match was played between Downtown Heroes FC and Syed Taj ud Din FC.
Before the match, the team were introduced to Chief Guest Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azim Mattu and Guest of Honour Chairperson J&K Waqf Board Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi.


The match turned out as keenly fought affair with sizeable number of spectators turning out to watch first high profile football match of the season. In the end, Syed Taj ud Din FC emerged winner by defeating Downtown Heroes FC by 1-0 goals.


Later Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Director Strategic Business Development JCT Priya Thapar, Waseem Aslam, Zamir Thakur, Professor Bashir distributed prizes amoung the teams.
