The much awaited finale of Syed R&B Cricket Tournament was yesterday played at Islamia college Hawal Srinagar.
It was a cracking battle between FCC Gulab Bagh and Sofi XI Srinagar.
Batting first, Sofi XI managed to post meager score of 100 in 19.3 overs. Niyaz Beigh who scored 30 runs remained the top scorer for Sofi XI side.
While from FCC, Tajamul Ashraf and Adil Polard ran through the Sofi XI batting order as they scalped 2 and 3 wickets respectively.
In reply, FCC Gulab Bagh was reduced to 30 for 4 but it was the duo of Abid Ahmad and Irfan Rashid who guided FCC to a nail
bittting two wicket win.
Irfan Rashid was named as man of the match as well as player of the tournament.
Altafur Rehman Director physical ducation Islamia college was the chief guest at the event.
