STREAK is now 0-6 for J&K

J&K on Monday made it sure that Streak remains intact as they were defeated by Services by 102 runs in the match of Vijay Hazare trophy at Chennai. The J&K’s losing streak has now jumped to 0-6 as they now wait for three more to be played in the event.jk

Paras Sharma and Parvez Rasool tried their best to break the streak but rest of the players in team thwarted their all moves. Paras Sharma scored fighting 93 runs but it was always going to be beyond the reach as other batsman made it sure that J&K falls well short of Services 322 run target.

Parvez Rasool also picked five wicket haul but even his efforts were not enough as Services posted big total of 322 runs on board. It would be worth seeing whether J&K will continue its streak or it will eventually come to end like Undertakers WWE Wrestlemania streak came to end.

Moving on to match report, J&K were on Monday defeated by Services. Chasing target of 322 runs , J&K got all out for 220 runs. Paras Sharma was highest with 93 runs while as Mohammad Mudhasir played cameo of 30 runs from 14 balls. Parvez Rasool scored 28.

Earlier Services got all out for 322 runs in 49 overs. J&K went into the match on the back of having suffered five consecutive defeats. They made five changes to the squad that had lost to Gujarat by 8-wickets.

J&K opted to bowl first and it seemed the decision was right. Mohammad Mudhsair gave early breakthrough followed by a double strike by Parvez Rasool that left Services 55/3 in 13.3 overs.

That was only time when JK looked to dominate as after that huge partnership Nakul Sharma and Rajat Paliwal got Services back into game. Paliwal got out after scoring 63, getting LBW out to Irfan Pathan. Nakul in-between completed his Century off 84 balls.

Parvez Rasool took wicket of Nakul after he had scored 123 off 98 balls. J&K skipper took two more wickets but that was too late as Services were set to finish with huge total. Mudhasir took eight wicket of Services inning. Umar Nazir took two wickets in two balls as Services got all out for 322 runs in 49 overs.
