The much anticipated Final match clash of PSL between Star XI Pattan and Friends XI Tangmarg was played at Zind Peer SB Playground Pattan amid roaring and enthusiastic crowd.
Both teams had their bases covered having required Armoury in their ranks.Coin flipped in Tangmarg’s favour and they opted to bat first citing pressure of chasing in big game.After early hiccups M.Ashraf ( Brett Lee) steadied the ship playing shorts all around the park scoring valuable 82 runs.
Tangmarg scored 158 runs in allotted 20 overs.Imtiyaz lefty took 4 wickets for Star XI.In reply Star XI got off to flier but Friends XI Tangmarg found way back in the match.Had it not been Umar lefty’s gusty knock Star XI ship would have sunk.Star XI chased the requisite in 18 overs losing 6 wickets.With this win Star XI lifted PSL Title.Imtiyaz lefty for his all round performance was declared as Man of the match.Asim Bashir of Victorious Tangmarg was adjudged as Man of the tournament.
