Srinagar: The mother of U-19 International and Ranjhi trophy cricketer Abid Nabi passed away here on Saturday.
Family sources said that she had cardiac arrest in the morning and was declared brought dead in hospital. Her Fateh Khawani would be held on Tuesday, 10 AM at their ancestral graveyard Sonwar.
Cricketer fraternity has expressed their grief on the demise of Abid’s mother. J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) former General Secretary, Saleem Khan, Ahsan Mirza expressed their grief with the cricketer and his family. Ghani Gliders Sports Club, President Tariq Rashid Ghani has also expressed his grief.
