Srinagar: In another admiration for the Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Asif, former South Africa great AB de Villiers has picked Asif to bowl for his life.
AB de Villiers has faced Mohammad Asif several times in his career has over the years shown his admiration for the former Pakistan pacer.
Former skipper, was joined by former India captain, Virat Kohli as part of a rapid-fire round, the two players were asked to pick a bowler they would want to bowl for their life.
After much deliberation, Virat ultimately picked Dale Steyn, while AB de Villiers quickly named Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif.
“Muhammad Asif…uff!! That guy with the new ball unplayable,” he said in a recent interview.
Asif, who is known for his magical seam and swing bowling, represented Pakistan in 23 Tests and 38 ODIs; picking up 106 and 46 wickets respectively.
However, his career was marred by controversies related to his involvement in a spot-fixing scandal in 2010.
