Srinagar: The ongoing legends competition Mega Stars League is throwing out exciting contests with some of the biggest stars of Pakistan cricket going against each other.
The likes of Shahid Afridi, Inzamam ul Haq, Misbah ul Haq, Imran Nazir, Mohammad Hafeez have lit up the contest.
However, there was one battle that caught the attention of everyone.
It was the battle between son and father. Abdul Razzaq was up against his son Ali Razzaq.
Abdul Razzaq is one of Pakistan’s most celebrated all-rounders, with three tons in each of Test and ODI cricket, and averages nearing 30 with the bat in both. He also claimed nearly 400 wickets in a Pakistan career spanning 14 years.
His son Ali Razzaq is a budding cricketer, and featured in the Kashmir Premier League for Mirpur Royals, a team coached by his father, as well as appearing for Bahawalpur Raiders in the Pakistan Junior League.
He showed what he’s about in the Mega Stars League, making the senior Razzaq knock one behind to the keeper, sparking wild celebrations.
