Baramulla, July 18: Waheed’s expressive knock Sunday led CRK Mirgund to a 7-wicket win against Falocnz Srinagar in the ongoing 17th SNW Cricket Trophy at Chanderhama, here.

Batting first, Srinagar posted a good total of 172 runs, thanks to a well-made 67-run knock by Umar Kuthoo. Hilal also fired a fifty while for the bowling side, Tanveer picked a brace.

Despite having enough runs on board, Srinagar bowling looked unimpressive in front of an attacking Mirgund batting line-up.

Waheed and Arif Khan were the willow-wielders, making 64 and 49 runs, respectively. They helped Mirgund chase down the total in 16th over with 7 wickets in hand.

Waheed, for his top innings, was declared the man of the match.
