Pattan, August 13: Javid Ganai and Sajad Friday bagged man of the match awards as City Gymkhana and Sunshine Budgam won their respective matches on Friday in the 17th SNW Memorial Cricket Trophy at Chanderhama.
In first match, batting first, Gymkhana posted 165-run total against Bhat Sports Hail. Asif Ramzan (28) and Nazir (23) scored camoes.
Bhat Sports fell 18 runs short in the chase. Jahangir Ahamd scored 54 while Abid Nabi picked four and Javid Ganai scalped three wickets.
In second match, Spartan Strikers Magam was bundled out on meagre 84 runs by Sunshine Budgam. Sajad and Mudasir scalped four wickets each.
In reply, Budgam chased down the total in just 8.4 overs. Sajad fired 45 runs after the sparkling bowling performance, handing Budgam an 8-wicket win.
