J&K SnowShoe Association under the aegis of SnowShoe Federation of India held SnowShoe run in ski resort of Gulmarg Kashmir on Tuesday.
The race was held to promote snowshoe sport amoung the students and in it 20 students of Burn Hall School participated. It was first time that most of these students took part in snowshoe racing.
The run was flagged of by senior ski instructor of Youth Services and Sports Niyaz Wani along with Burn Hall School sports instructor Feroze Khan and other officials. On the occasion International cyclist Akbar khan and national level table tennis player Qazi Inam were also present.
Danish of Burn Hall finished first while as Ayan and Abrar finished second and third respectively.
