Srinagar: Continuing it’s dismal performance, J&K senior Cricket team suffered its second consecutive defeat in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Tournament as they were thrashed by Hyderabad at Jaipuriya Vidhyalaya Ground on Tuesday.
Batting first, J&K were able to post 159 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 20 overs. Shubham Pundir scored 58 from 47 while as Fazil Rashid scored 25 from 18. Abdul Samad scored 14 from 6 while as Rasikh Salam scored 10 not out from 4. For Hyderabad, R Teja, C Rakshand, C Milind took two wickets each.
In reply, Hyderabad batters gave no chance to J&K as they overhauled target in 18.3 overs for the loss of two wickets. Tilak Verma scored 58 not out from 43 while as Rohit Rayudu scored 38 from 28. Rahul Singh scored 35 not out from 27. For J&K, Yudhvir and Sahil took one each.
It is second consecutive defeat for J&K as they lost against Baroda on Monday.
