In a big shock to current JKCA Clubs and their officials the new constitution of J&K Cricket Association has been registered with Registrar of Societies, J&K –Srinagar office on October 3.
The new constitution submitted by JKCA CEO and 2 Administrators has been approved in Registrar of Societies and is now the new official constitution of JK Cricket Body.
As per new constitution, Clubs that were ruling JKCA for more than 60-years will have no Role and each district will have 3 representatives in main JKCA body. The representatives to main JKCA would be elected by respective district clubs in the district level elections.
JKCA has already sent copy of new constitution to BCCI and Supreme Court as the new drafted document is laid as per Lodha Panel Recommendations.
It is to be seen what would be reaction of Clubs as they have run JKCA for decades now.
