Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar on Thursday said he was saddened over Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his friend sentenced in a blackbuck poaching case.
Conveying his support for the Bollywood actor, Akhtar in his comment on social networking website Twitter said it is sad to see his friend sentenced to five year jail. He also expressed solidarity with the family of Salman.
“Really Sad to see my friend Salman khan sentenced for 5 year But the Law must take its course & we got to respect the decision of honourable court of India but i still think punishment is to harsh but my heart goes to his family & fans ..Am sure he will out soon (sic),” wrote Akhtar on Twitter.
