Shoaib Akhtar backs Pakistan captain in Kohli vs Babar debate with Harbhajan

Srinagar: Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar may be harshest critic of Pakistan skipper Babar Azam but he also knows the art of defending his star player when it matters most.

In a perfect example of backing Babar Azam, Shoaib Akhtar in a debate with former India star Harbhajan Singh backed Pakistan captain for his T20 record.

Harbhajan opined that Virat has already established himself as a great player, while Babar still has a lot to achieve to reach that level. However, Harbhajan acknowledged Babar’s immense talent and described him as a wonderful player.

“Virat Kohli has established himself as a great, while Babar Azam still has a lot to do. He will reach there someday, as he is a wonderful player. He is very good in Test cricket, but maybe T20 doesn’t suit him a lot,” Harbhajan said on his YouTube channel.

Akhtar joined Harbhajan on his YouTube channel and shared the same views on the comparison between Kohli and Babar.

“Virat Kohli is the greatest, and Babar Azam is in the process of becoming the greatest batsman ever. He is striving to improve in T20s. People criticize him without valid reasons,” Akhtar said.

Ther is never ending discussions and debates among fans and experts regarding the comparisons between Virat Kohli and Babar Azam, both highly regarded players.
