Srinagar: Pakistan premier all-rounder Shadab Khan has praised Pakistan captain Babar Azam for his on-field decision making skills.
“On the field, at times, it appears to us that he might be making the wrong decision, but Babar has been blessed beyond measure since he always had Almighty’s help which has guided him in making the right decisions,” Shadab Khan was quoted by Cricket Pakistan.
“We don’t really enjoy with Babar on the field because he is a different person altogether over there, but we do enjoy with him off the field,” he said.
Shadab had urged Pakistan fans and players to respect Babar as he is keeping Pakistan cricket on the right track.
“Babar is that kind of a player who has garnered respect all over the world. As a nation, we also should try to give him the same amount of respect, especially the way he is making Pakistan proud worldwide,” Shadab Khan said.
Babar Azam is all format captain of Pakistan cricket team. He has led side final of World T20 Tournament. He has also been under pressure from various circles in Pakistan cricket for his captainship skills.
