Sayim Mustafa and Bandeep Singh’s batting display and a tight spell of bowling by Javid Ahmad on Tuesday guided Team C to an easy win over Team D in the ongoing T20 trial matches at GGM Science College ground, Jammu.
Team D while batting first kept losing wickets on regular intervals as none of their batsmen showed resistance. They finally managed to score 103 runs in the alloted 20 overs. Wicket-keeper batsman, Nawaz made some 20 runs, finishing as top scorer.
For Team C, it was spin-duo of Javid Ahmad and Abdul Samad who shared five wickets amongst them. The former scalped three while as latter picked two wickets. Rohit Sharma also chipped in with a brace.
Meanwhile, in reply, Team C looked quite dominating. Sayim Mustafa scored 46 runs and Bandeep Singh made 40 to make sure they cross the line with ease.
