Jammu, September 20: Sanam Singh was the star with the bat as KC Sports Club defeated Akhnoor Cricket Club, here on Sunday.

Batting first, KC was provided with a flying start by opener, Arjun Chowdhary. Later on, it was Sanam Singh who drove the ship.

He made unbeaten 80 runs to take his team to an above par total of 176 runs.

In reply, Aknoor batsmen found themselves in trouble from the very beginning. They were bundled out for meagre 76 runs, hence awarding KC a mega win of 100 runs
