Sagipora-XI defeated Pohrupeth-XI in the final played on Sunday to emerge winner of the Wahipora Premier League.
After winning the toss and deciding to bat first, Pohrupeth-XI made 138-7 in 20 overs. Chasing down this target Sagipora-XI got off to flying start as their openers put on 87 runs for first wicket.
U-17 cricketer Basit Akbar also known as destruction in local area made 58 in 37 balls and helped Sagipora-Xi to win match.
