Srinagar: BCCI on Sunday announced the much awaited Team India squad for the Afghanistan series.
Rohit Sharma is back in the squad as captain alongwith star player Virat Kohli. Both are making T20 return for India after a long time. Hardik Pandya has continued to miss due to injury alongwith No.1 T20 batter Suryakumar Yadav who is also nursing injury.
Squad: Rohit Sharma (C), S Gill, Y Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Sanju Samson (wk), Shivam Dube, W Sundar, Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar.
The series commences on 11 January in Mohali.
