Rohit Sharma overtakes Shahid Afridi, becomes 2nd highest 6 hitter in International cricket

Srinagar: Team India all format skipper Rohit Sharma has registered a massive record in hs name by overtaking former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi.

Sharma who is known for his six hitting ability has overtaken Pakistan power hitting icon Shahid Afridi in the all time highest six hitter list in International Cricket.

Rohit Sharma in fourth T20I against West Indies scored 33 runs from just 16 balls with the help of 2 fours and 3 sixes. India won match by 53 runs to seal the series.

Team India skippers three sixes during his inning helped him to 477 sixes in International cricket which is the second highest number of sixes hammered by any batter. He surpassed Shahid Afridi who had scored 476 sixes.

The West Indies legend, Chris Gayle, tops the list with 553 maximums from 483 matches.
