Srinagar: Former India cricketer Roger Binny on Tuesday officially replaced Sourav Ganguly as BCCI President in the 91st Annual General Meeting of BCCI held in Mumbai.
Though it was already known, but decisions were made official on Tuesday.
“The following members were elected as the new Office Bearers of the BCCI, President: Roger Binny, Vice President: Rajeev Shukla
, Secretary Jay Shah, Joint Secretary: Devajit Saikia and Treasurer: Ashish Shelar,” BCCI statement issued by Jay Shah read.
“One representative of the General Body was elected in the Apex Council of the BCCI: MKJ Majumdar,” it said.
“Two representatives in the Indian Premier League Governing Council were elected: Arun Singh Dhumal; and Avishek Dalmiya,” it said.
During the meeting the Senior Men’s Future Tour Programs for 2023-2027 and Senior Women’s Future Tour Programs for 2022-2025 were approved by the General Body. and The General Body also approved to conduct the Women’s Indian Premier League.
