Riding for the Noora Hospital, star cyclist and only senior International cyclist from J&K, Akber Khan proved his mettle once again , as he shined in the SAKSHAM Delhi Cylthon held on October 7.
Akber Khan finished eight in the race on Sunday in which all the top cyclists of the Country participated and was at Jawar Lal Nehru Stadium New Delhi.
From J&K 5 cyclists took part and all the five finished in first bunch. Only top 10 riders were awarded with Akber managing to finish 8th. He bagged cash prize of Rs 10 thousand. Akber has been constantly finishing among top finishers in the professional cycling circuit.
Managing director Noora hospital Manzoor Ah Wagay hailed Akber for winning prize in Delhi.
