Ready to bat at any position, says Shadab Khan

Srinagar: Pakistan premier limited overs all-rounder Shadab Khan has said that he is ready to bat at any position in Pakistan team.

Pakistan is set to play three ODI’s against against Netherlands, followed by Asia Cup in UAE.

“If there is a decision on my request, I am even ready to play as an opener too,” Shadab Khan said during media interaction in Lahore on Tuesday.

“But one has to look at the need of the team, Definitely, if team and situation demands, I am ready to play at any batting number,” Shadab said.

Shadab Khan said that under Babar Azam team has been staying united and back each other.

“Under the leadership of Babar Azam, all the players are gelled and are eager to perform well in the upcoming matches.”

About Netherlands series and how he looks at it Shadab said, “Points are important in every series of the ICC World Cup Super League, so the focus is now on the Netherlands tour, keeping that in mind, we are preparing hard”.
