Rasikh Salam and Mujtaba Yousuf are future of J&K cricket: Irfan Pathan

Rasikh Salam (L) and Mujtaba Yousuf (R)

Srinagar, May 22: J&K senior cricket team’s mentor, Irfan Pathan, recently said that the pace-duo of Rasikh Salam and Mujtaba Yousuf will have a great future.

Rasikh, without representing any age-group cricket, made it to the J&K’s senior team in 2018 and later fetching an Indian Premier League (IPL) contract from Mumbai Indians. However, the right-arm pacer was banned for 2 years after found guilty of age fudging.

Mujtaba, another young left-arm pacer, made his Ranji Trophy debut earlier this year, impressing one and all with his bowling.

Taking note of them, the former Indian all-rounder said they will have a great future.

“Mujtaba Yousuf and Rasikh Salam have great future ahead,” Pathan said in an Instagram live with Suresh Raina.
