Sorry J&K continue to give disappointing performance as after dismal bowling show, J&K batting is badly struggling in reply Goa’s first inning total of 468/9 on the third day of ongoing Ranji Trophy match at Goa on Tuesday.
At the end of play on Day 3 , J&K were struggling on 246/7 still trailing Goa in first inning by 222 runs. Irfan Pathan was batting on 42 while as Amir Aziz on 22. It was always going to be uphill task for J&K after being made to suffer in the field by Goa batsman for two and half day. Batting has been thorn in the neck for J&K in whole season and it failed once again on a batting friendly track.
For J&K Shubham Khajuria scored 53 while as Ian Dev 37. Rest of the batsman failed to make valuable contribution as required in the situation. Even skipper Parvez Rasool who went wicketless while bowling failed with bat as well scoring only 13 runs. For Goa Lakshay and Desai have chipped in with two wickets each.
Earlier Snehal remained unbeaten for Goa on 130 run knock as they declared inning on 468/9. Amonkar with 73 and Amir Verma with 71 were other main scorers for them.
