Irfan Pathan got out after scoring 35 run knock and a stand of 51 runs with Qamran Iqbal to leave J&k inning 71/5 in response to Assam’s first inning total of 128 at Guwahatti in Ranji Trophyy match.

Chasing a total of 128 runs in first inning, J&K were left 19/4 with Ahmad Banday, Shubham Khajuria, Owais Shah and Parvez Rasool all falling cheply. Pathan then joined Iqbal in middle and had stand of 51 runs between them to take J&K total to 70/5. Pathan scored 35 from 46 before getting out. Iqbal is batting on 25 from 68 and is joined by debutant Musaif Aijaz.
