Srinagar: Skipper Parvez Rasool was last man out as J&K got all out for 242 runs in their first inning against Chattisgarh in Ranji trophy match at Gwalior Friday.
While Parvez missed a deserving ton by eight runs, JK conceded first inning lead of 128 runs. Chattisgarh had scored 370 runs in their first inning. JK inning bundled out in 77.1 overs. If it would not have valiant inning of 92 by Parvez, JK would have got out on a lesser total. Despite wicket kept falling at other end, Parvez did not stop scoring runs.
Parvez top scored for JK with 92 run knock that included 11 boundaries. It took him 143 deliveries to score 92 before being last man out. Ian Dev scored 48 while as Pranav Gupta scored 22. For Chattisgarh Ruikar took five wicket haul while as Pankaj took three.
