Owais Shah’s heroic knock of 76 runs kept J&K in the game as visitors bundled out the hosts on meager 151 runs on Day 2 of Group C match, here at GGM Science College, ground on Tuesday.
Earlier, after winning the toss, J&K chose to bat first but the decision turned bizarre as J&K lost three early wickets. However, Owais Shah did some rescue operation, making fiery 76 runs with the help of 4 sixes and 6 fours. Though nobody else supported him as J&K finished the innings on 151 runs.
Jharkhand came to bat for three overs and made sure to not lose any wickets. They were 9-0 at the stumps.
The first day washed out due to the wet outfield.
