Ranji Trophy: J&K vs Himachal match ends in draw; visitors bag 3 points

Srinagar: J&K’s first Ranji Trophy match of the season vs Himachal Pradesh at Jammu has ended in a draw as bad light allowed only 65.3 overs of play in the four days.

The scenario at the venue was so bad that in the entire four days of play only 65.3 overs of play was possible. But even in that , the worse part was that J&K team got all out in first innings and then Himachal Pradesh were able to earn first inning lead points.

Yes , you heard it right, even in only 65.3 overs of play Himachal Pradesh was able to earn first inning lead and bag crucial 3 points from the draw match while as J&K could earn only one point.

In the first inning, J&K got all out for 100 run total in 35.3 overs. In reply, Himachal Pradesh scored 120/1 in 30 overs as second inning couldnt be completed.

Even in curtailed match, neither J&K batting neither bowling could work. In a conditions were J&K got all out for 100 runs in 35.3 overs, Himachal was able to score 120/1 in 30 overs.

The season for J&K Ranji Trophy side has started on a dismal note similar to their dismal performance in Syed Mushtaq T20 Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy tournament.
