Ranji Trophy – J&K collapses to 105 for 5 after quick start

 

Srinagar, Oct 8: After getting quick from Adil Reshi, J&K collapsed from 71 for one to 105 for the loss of five wickets in 28 overs on the third day of the Ranji Trophy match against Kerala on Saturday.

Iqbal Abdullah and Monish bagged five wickets between them to leave J&K struggling at 105 for 5. Abdullah bagged three while Monish bagged two.

Adil so far has top scored for JK with 40 while as Parvez rasool could manage only 16, Shubam 13, Gupta 8 and Ian Dev 13.

ranjiEarlier Kerala were bundled out for 306 runs in first inning with Samson top scoring with 154 runs, Jalaj Saxena was another scored 68 for them. For JK, Beigh took six wickets while as Dayal took three. Umer Nazir picked one. Skipper Parvez Rasool went wicketless despite being miserly economical.

JK are still trailing first inning total of Kerala by 201 runs.
